Dawson was whelped the 29th of July 1998. His sire is Am/Can CH. Heart Acres Escort In Black and his dam is Am. Can. CH. Karjean's Abilene at Heart Acres. He was bred by Priscilla Kilman, Lisa Wylie and Carol Nesbitt and is owned by Dr. James and Priscilla Kilman.

Dawson was the first duo champion for his sire, finishing both his Canadian and American Championships quickly. He was shown to his Canadian Championship by Shirley Bell and finished with some very nice wins; one being a Specialty win at the Northern Ontario Boxer Club Specialty.

He was then sent back to the States and was shown to his American Championship by Chris Baum. A cute story about Dawson's American Championship is that he actually finished twice. His final points the first time were gained from the American Bred class but since he was Canadian bred these points were disallowed and he had to go back to the ring and do it again which he did in no time at all.

Dawson is a black faced, dark brindle flashy boy with an outstanding personality. His sweetness endears him to everyone he meets. He is 25 and ¾ inches tall, has a very clean front and rear, has lots of neck and has an excellent bite and a very handsome, chiseled head.
